Three More Alliances Announced

Three more alliances were forged this past month to deliver supply chain management solutions. The first took place between TRW and Paragon Management Systems. Reston, Va.-based systems integrator TRW will work with Los Angeles-based Paragon, which offers an advance planning and scheduling package, to deliver end-to-end solutions to the semiconductor, automotive, and consumer packaged-goods industries.

Another alliance involves EXE Technologies of Dallas and Teklogix of Mississauga, Ontario. EXE provides supply chain execution software, while Teklogix specializes in wireless data communications for the warehouse. The two will develop automated warehouse management systems and radio-frequency solutions.

Finally, HK Systems Inc. of Milwaukee will team up with Manugistics of Rockville, Md. HK makes supply chain execution applications, while Manugistics provides supply chain optimization software. The two will focus on integrating HK's supply chain management and distribution software with Manugistics' Transportation Management package.
