NASSTRAC chooses new executive director

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 9/1/1999

The National Small Shipments Traffic Conference (NASSTRAC) has named Debra Phillips as its executive director. She succeeds Joseph Cutrona, who has retired after 20 years with the organization.

For the last five years, Phillips has been corporate communications manager for Penske Truck Leasing, where she was responsible for internal and external communications and new-product launches. Previously, she was manager of advertising and public relations for Carolina Freight Corp. She has served on the board of directors of the American Trucking Associations' Sales and Marketing Council.

NASSTRAC is the nation's only trade association that focuses on less-than-truckload and package transportation.
