KPMG LLP, an accounting, tax, and consulting firm, has appointed Walter Kross director of strategy and intermodal transportation in the firm's national transportation consulting practice. Kross, a retired four-star general in the U.S. Air Force, plans to launch a new strategic planning practice and assist the firm's clients in managing international supply chains.
