At H.J. Heinz Co., even presidents are accountable to supply-chain executives. Neil Harrison, president of the company's newly formed Heinz Frozen Food Co., will report to Richard H. Wamhoff, Heinz's executive vice president-global manufacturing/supply chain and frozen food. Heinz created the new affiliate to reap significant go-to-market benefits by combining all frozen-foods brands under single management. Heinz Frozen Food Co., headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pa., will bring together the Ore-Ida Foods and the Weight Watchers Gourmet Food Co. units. The category represents more than $1 billion in sales annually.
