From the driver retention/driver safety file:

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 12/1/1998

From the driver retention/driver safety file: The first driver hired at USF Dugan (formerly Dugan Truck Line) recently retired after more than 33 years of service. James Simon was hired in April 1965. He was the company's only employee for four years, driving Dugan's single truck and trailer unit in a 40-mile radius from Wichita, Kan. (Today, USF Dugan operates with 2,250 employees.) He received recognition for driving two million miles without an accident in 1989 and remained accident-free through to his retirement.
