The question of what's in name continues to be important to businesses, and logistics companies are not immune. In a widely expected change, Caliber Logistics has changed its name to FDX Supply Chain Services, clearly identifying it as part of FDX Corp., a $17 billion holding company that also includes FedEx, RPS, Roberts Express, and Viking Freight System. Another case: Eagle USA Airfreight, which has added a number of services and expanded internationally, has changed its name to EGL Eagle Global Logistics.
