Ryder Integrated Logistics has named Gene Tyndall senior vice president, global development. Tyndall is responsible for managing the integration of the company's information technology, sales and marketing, product development, and supply chain service functions.Burnham has hired Craig Foster as the company's senior vice president, U.S. Network Operations. Foster joined Burnham from Skyway Freight Systems Inc.
C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc. has appointed Mark Walker, president of C.H. Robinson subsidiary T-Chek Systems, and James V. Larsen, formerly president of C.H. Robinson subsidiary Preferred Systems, corporate vice presidents.
R&S Logistics and Transportation has hired Rick Smith as vice president of logistics and business development. Smith recently served as principal of Smith Organizational Change Consulting.
Union Tank Car Co., a builder and full-service lessor of specialized railcars, has promoted Frank D. Lester to president. Lester previously served as president of Procor Ltd., the company's Canadian affiliate.
AmeriCold Logistics has named James M. Balestra vice president, international. Balestra is responsible for making it easier for AmeriCold customers to import from and export to foreign countries.
UPS has promoted Michael L. Eskew to the newly created post of executive vice president. Eskew oversees strategic planning, information services, and the UPS Logistics Group.
