The Department of Transportation's Web site has set up several links to provide the traveling public, shippers, carriers, and other transportation system users with current information on responses to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
The main Web site is www.dot.gov, where a series of links to agency information can be located, including frequently asked questions. For the latest news releases from transportation agencies, visit http://www.dot.gov/affairs/briefing.htm. In addition, up-to-date info on hazmat regulation can be found at www.hazmat.dot.gov. Information from the Coast Guard regarding port security can be found at http://www.uscg. mil/news/cgnews.shtm.
