- Supply chain software execution vendorVertex Interactive Inc.
of Fairfield, N.J., says it plans to merge withPlus Integration Supply Chain Solutions BV,
a private supply chain management software and services provider headquartered in Haarlem, the Netherlands. Vertex would exchange 40 million new shares of its stock for those of Plus Integration. The combined companies will continue to operate under the Vertex name if shareholders approve the deal.

of Charlotte, N.C., a provider of customer relationship management (CRM) software, for $86 million. Edwards will add the CRM software to its collaborative commerce suite.

of Toronto. Yantra will incorporate Cognos' business intelligence solutions into its software.

of Forest Park, Ga., for an undisclosed sum.
Kewill Systems PLC
of Surrey, United Kingdom, has extended its partnership with Microsoft'sGreat Plains Business Solutions
of Fargo, N.D. Under the deal, Microsoft will begin distributing an integration module for Kewill's multi-carrier shipping systems that will be activated via the Kewill.Net portal.
Webraska
of Poissy, France, andAirFlash
of Saratoga, Calif., have announced that they plan to merge, creating a worldwide provider of location-based services. Webraska furnishes wireless navigation services and technologies; AirFlash provides location-based technologies for network operators and wireless service providers. The merged company will retain the Webraska name.
