Case palletizer offers flexible layouts
The 780 series case palletizer from Alvey Systems, an FKI Logistex company, features a right-angle pattern formation that allows it to achieve almost any case layout. The unit's small footprint makes it suitable for facilities where space is at a premium.
Close-center rollers and a bi-parting plate apron let the 780 handle cases and pallets at speeds of up to 35 cases per minute. Other features include a heavy-duty frame, premium components, and a touch-screen operator interface. FKI Logistex www.fkilogistex.com (877) 935-4564
Quiet conveyor for any-sized package
The NBA-23 belt-driven live roller conveyor electronically senses products weighing from 1 ounce to 75 pounds per foot. Its narrow, high-strength belt allows conveyor lengths of up to 300 feet, with a spring-loaded take-up for optimum belt tension. A hollow shaft drive eliminates chains, sprockets, and chain guards, improving safety while reducing noise. A helical gear reducer increases potential conveyor lengths while reducing the number of drives needed, horsepower requirements, and energy consumption. All units are pre-wired and plumbed for easy installation.
The patented CRUZcontrol electronic sensing logic package features an integral photo eye, solenoid valve, and control module. Ermanco www.ermanco.com (231) 798-4547
Voice technology for picking software
