Plastic pallet meets three separate industry standards
The new HD228-FR plastic pallet meets specialized industry standards in three different areas: fire resistance, strength, and sanitation.
According to the manufacturer, the pallet received Underwriters' Laboratories UL2335 classification for fire safety, which requires plastic pallets to perform as well as or better than wooden pallets with respect to fire suppression.
Both the 48-inch x 40-inch pallet and HD228, its non-fire-retardant version, have passed the National Sanitary Foundation's tests for cleanliness and promotion of food sanitation. Both models also comply with the Grocery Manufacturers of America's 2,800-pound edge-rack standard for durability.
