A customizable hand-held computer, the JETT RFID-Mi features a powerful Microsoft Windows CE .NET 4.2 operating system and Intel XScale Technology processor. The unit features a 13.56 MHz reader/writer that can read tag IDs as well as read/write data blocks. It also supports software encryption to allow the secure storage of information on tags. The average read range for the reader is approximately three inches. Users can select from various antenna positions, which maximizes the ease of use in multiple orientations. Customization options include case color, protective bumpers, keypad, logo tag, serial tag, and cables. This handheld meets the requirements of a wide range of applications where ruggedness is a must, such as warehousing, transportation, field service, machine control, and inventory control.
