Rough-surface label prevents adhesive "bleeding"

Staff -- Logistics Management, 9/1/2005

A label for rough, cast-metal surfaces avoids the adhesive "bleeding" that often prevents a clean dispensing process, says the manufacturer. This "BleedStop" system uses peel-off labels that prevent the unintentional transfer of adhesives to their backing while being dispensed from the roll.

The labels are backed by a thick coating of adhesive with superior flow properties, enabling the adhesive to migrate into and remain in the pores of the rough surface to which they are affixed.
