Reduced-maintenance battery cuts costs
Staff -- Logistics Management, 7/1/2005
The EM-Line battery has been engineered to increase the time between watering intervals, even in rigorous industrial lift truck applications. An increased water-storage capacity allows the battery to operate for three months or longer without watering, compared to conventional flooded batteries that require weekly or bi-weekly watering.
The principal benefits include the reduction of maintenance costs, labor, and the possibility of watering errors. Ranging from 12 through 48 volts in 80 and 120 ampere-hour (AH) sizes, the EM-Line is ideal for the replacement of original battery equipment as well as for new applications.
