Drop-deck trailer offers stronger floor

Reinke Manufacturing Inc. has announced enhancements to its drop-deck trailer. The new features include redesigned wheel wells that no longer extend up into the floor of the drop deck. According to the company, this change will add to the strength of the floor and will increase the structural integrity over the wheel wells. Additional improvements include a new connection at the drop section. By bolting the lower deck side rail to the drop section, Reinke has created greater trailer strength and flexibility.

The trailers are available in lengths from 45 feet to 53 feet and widths of 96 inches or 102 inches. Beam capacity is 50,000 pounds in a four-foot working load rating when the load is astride the main beams.
