Starbucks' Stevens earns bragging rights for 2006

Staff -- Logistics Management, 2/1/2006

WALTHAM, Mass.—Congratulations to Jim Stevens, senior project manager, supply chain operations for Starbucks Coffee Company, for winning this year's Logistics Quiz. Jim's name was pulled from among those of 55 readers who scored 100 percent on the quiz.

Jim wins an iPod nano and has justly earned bragging rights for 2006. "I had to look up a couple answers," he says, "but I completed the entire quiz in about 25 minutes." Stevens, who manages Starbucks' carrier relations and price and service negotiations, is a "Seattle guy" who says he'll be filling his iPod with classic rock.

More than 1,100 readers completed this year's quiz, which appeared in the December 2005 issue of Logistics Management. If you need to settle the score with your colleagues, use the answers below.
