USDA-approved lift tables for sanitary applications

Staff -- Logistics Management, 2/1/2006

Southworth Products Corp. now offers a line of stainless steel lift tables designed for use in applications that require sanitary washdowns. The USDA-approved units are available in 2,500- and 4,000-pound capacities. The motor is washdown-rated and controls are waterproof. In addition, the power unit is fully clad in stainless steel.

The lifts are designed to provide trouble-free service and long operating life with minimal maintenance requirements. They also feature extra-wide bases for added stability, heavy-duty torque tubes, and fully profiled scissor legs for maximum strength.

Platforms measure 42 inches x 48 inches. Units lower to 9-1/4 inches and can be raised to 36 inches. A pan-style unit is available for applications that require loading and offloading with a hand pallet truck. Southworth Products Corp. 207-878-0700 www.SouthworthProducts.com
