Technology service program helps manage ocean contracts
Staff -- Logistics Management, 8/1/2005
Global Freight Analytics, a managed technology service program, provides integrated contract management and performance analysis for ocean transportation.
The system is designed to help shippers manage the execution of their ocean freight contracts and measure how transportation service providers are performing.
The program captures actual shipment activity and measures it against customer-established service parameters to provide insight into how a company's global transportation network functions, and where improvement is needed.
