Consolidators International Inc. , an international airfreight wholesaler, has announced that it will be a 24-hour, 365-day-a-year operation. CII's president, Julian Keeling, has also announced that freight destined for the South Pacific area will be consolidated on a daily basis to cut transit times.

National Distribution Centers recently acquired third-party logistics provider Burnham's manufacturing support and dedicated operations division. The new division will operate under the name NDC Systems.

TransOption Inc., a new global transportation and logistics consulting firm formed by logistics professionals Tinamarie Sauter, Emilia Castro, and Thomas Lloyd, has launched a new Web site, www.transoption.com .

Land Air Express of New England has selected Carrier Logistics Inc.'s FACTS2000 computerized freight accounting and tracking system to manage dispatch and administration operations throughout its eight facilities.

Wheaton World Wide Moving, a worldwide relocation services company, has announced the acquisition of Executive Logistics Services, which provides transportation, warehousing, and installation services to the hotel/motel industry.

FMI International and its partner Kesco Container Line have selected supply chain execution software company Log-Net Inc . to provide online transportation management software for international shipments.

The Interroll Group, a Swiss manufacturer and supplier of materials-handling components and systems, recently acquired the international French logistics company SIPA Roller SA .

Two divisions of Alliance Shippers Inc., Alliance International and Alliance Customs Clearance, recently received ISO 9001 certification.

Kalmar Industries, a subsidiary of the Partek Group, has announced plans to acquire the Dutch company NHC Holding BV, which consists of Nelcon BV, a manufacturer of container-handling equipment, and service company Groot-Hensen.
