Truck-restraint system for loading docks

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 1/1/2007

GMR Safety Inc.’s Power Chock wheel-based truck-restraint system can restrain all vehicles at the loading dock, including trailers with lift gates. Composed of a large steel chock set at the end of a counterbalanced arm, the chock is placed behind the vehicle’s rear wheel on a grade-level ground plate. The communication system of interior and exterior building lights, sensors, and an alarm provides a clear message about loading safety to dock employees and truck drivers.
