Keystone Dedicated Logistics, a third-party logistics company, has announced the opening of a new 161,000-square-foot warehouse facility located in the Pittsburgh area. The facility is a "food grade" warehouse serving the needs of cross-docking, distribution, small assembly, and pick & pack operations.

IFCO Systems North America, a reusable-packaging logistics company, has launched a new Web site, www.ifcosystems.com . The site offers a multilingual, integrated snapshot of the global company as well as information about its North American and European operations. It provides complete descriptions of IFCO's service offerings, product information, news, history, a calendar of events, and financial information.

New England Motor Freight has opened a new facility in Miami. The less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier will serve all points throughout the Northeast and the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec from the 35-door terminal. The new facility features consolidation, distribution, import/export, and warehousing capabilities for retail and industrial customers.

Logistics Consulting Group Inc. has opened a new office in San Francisco. This office will serve as headquarters for the group's consulting practice for the U.S. West Coast and provide additional space for its new business unit, Performance Auditing, which was launched in October 2000.

Prophesy Transportation Solutions Inc. has announced its new Dispatch Users Group for Dispatch customers. This was created to keep up with the growing community of users, to better assist them in the use of the company's service, and to increase the communication between Prophesy and Dispatch customers.

Dart Transit Co. and Fleetline Inc. have marketed themselves as one carrier to shippers while recruiting owner-operators as two separate carriers. Now, the Fleetline name is being dropped to provide a single corporate identity.

ACCUSHIP, an online logistics information management company, and Veredex, a provider of Internet logistics tools and services to the same-day delivery market, have formed an alliance to facilitate both same-day and overnight package delivery via the Web.
