Schneider National Inc., a provider of truckload and intermodal transportation solutions, has launched "Expedited Services," a new service featuring experienced team drivers who can provide fast, just-in-time delivery service for time-sensitive or high-security commodities.

Continental Traffic Services Inc. has announced the completion of its latest online service, "On-line Payment Research." The free service is available to both carriers and customers and gives real-time information pertaining to the status of bills paid through CTSI's payment process.

The U.S. Postal Service is offering a new delivery information service called "Signature Confirmation," which will fax or mail customers a copy of a delivery record, including the recipient's signature. The service will also provide delivery date and time information upon request. This information will be available online or by phone.

Partners Katrina Blackwell, Brad Beal, and David Combs have agreed to purchase American Red Ball Transit Co. and its subsidiaries from parent Atlas World Group Inc. AWG has owned the company since May 1996.

The Dock, www.thedock.com,is a recently launched online open marketplace that joins buyers and sellers of industrial equipment. The new site offers free memberships that include a personalized home page, Dock mail messaging, free classified listings, and want ads.

Target Logistics Services is expanding its network of domestic offices with the opening of a new, full-service facility in Raleigh, N.C. The transportation and logistics provider recently opened two new terminals in Texas.

Texas-based global forwarder Team Worldwide has announced that it has opened two branch offices in Honolulu and Maui, Hawaii. The logistics service provider operates more than 60 U.S. offices and more than 170 international locations supported by its global center based in Winnsboro, Texas.

DSC Logistics, a privately owned third-party logistics provider, has opened its newest integrated logistics center in Mechanicsburg, Pa. The facility has 378,000 square feet of warehouse space and will provide order management, packaging, picking, and promotional display assembly services.
