Automate 2015: 80% of exhibit floor plan sold

Robotics companies have already reserved more space than in 2013.

Even though the Automate 2015 show is still 18 months away, automation companies from around the world have reserved 80% of the current exhibit floor space. In fact, leading robotics companies have already reserved more space for the Automate 2015 show than they did in 2013. Automate 2015, North America’s leading automation event, will be held March 23-26, 2015 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

“This is an incredibly positive sign for our growing event,” said Jeff Burnstein, president of the Association for Advancing Automation (A3), primary sponsor of the Automate 2015 Show and Conference. “We can feel the momentum continuing to build from the 2013 show when our attendance grew 42% to more than 11,000 confirmed attendees. Besides robotics companies, we’re also seeing a large increase in early exhibitor reservations from system integrators, vision companies, and motion control companies.”

Among the robot manufacturers who have already reserved exhibit space are:
ABB Robotics
Denso Robotics
FANUC Robotics America
Gudel, Inc.
Kawasaki Robotics
KUKA Robotics
Mitsubishi Electric Automation
Nachi Robotic Systems
Reis Robotics
Universal Robots A/S
Yaskawa Motoman Robotics

Additionally, several system integrators have already committed to exhibit in the Integrated Solutions Center at the front of the show, including these RIA Certified Robot Integrators:
Ellison Technologies Automation
Intelligrated
JR Automation
Schneider Packaging Equipment

Robotics accessory component makers are also signing up to exhibit early in order to reserve their optimal space, said Burnstein. He cited companies such as ATI Industrial Automation, Coval Vacuum Technology, KEBA Corp., Piab USA, Robotiq, Robotmaster, SAB North America, Schunk, and Vaccon as examples.

“Automate will continue to be the broadest automation solutions show in North America,” said Burnstein. “It’s a unique show because no matter what automation solution is needed, it can be found at Automate 2015. We think that’s why 47% of the Automate attendees tell us they attend no other trade shows, and exhibitors report to us that they find potential customers at Automate that they’ve never seen at other shows.”

Automate 2015 will be collocated with ProMat 2015, North America’s premier material handling and logistics show, sponsored by MHI.
