Bunzl Distribution USA, a leading international supplier of disposable paper and plastic packaging supplies, needed to establish a transparent and compliant import supply chain.

After a vendor evaluation, Bunzl implemented the Supply Chain Visibility and Trade Automation solutions from Management Dynamics to improve visibility of inbound shipments, monitor carrier and supplier performance, and automate Customs entry. As a result of this new strategic initiative, Bunzl was able to improve customer service, reduce brokerage fees, and strengthen compliance with international trade regulations at over 70 of its branches in US, Canada and Puerto Rico.

Bunzl Distribution USA, Inc., based in St. Louis, is the US headquarters and largest division of Bunzl plc, a leading UK-based wholesale distribution company. Bunzl is a leading supplier of various plastic packaging and disposable paper products to food processors, supermarkets, retailers, convenient stores, and other users. With worldwide sales in excess of $6 billion, Bunzl has over 3,500 employees, and over 90 warehouses that serve all 50 states, Canada, the Caribbean, and parts of Mexico.
