At a press conference Monday afternoon, Dematic (Booth 5723) released Dematic iQ, its next-generation software platform that extends beyond traditional warehouse control systems into knowledge-based logistics optimization. The platform uses analytics to deliver real-time visibility and control.
“With the exponential growth of digital data, the industry will increasingly need solutions with intelligence, not just speed,” said Ulf Henriksson, president and CEO of the Dematic Group. “We are working to leverage this information to deliver actionable business intelligence.”
Dematic iQ’s scalable and modular platform can accommodate manual processes through highly automated systems, addressing all fulfillment center business processes with functional modules and cloud offerings. A data management layer allows the platform to centralize data from diverse software and controls sources in real time. Built on an open architecture, Dematic iQ can integrate easily with existing infrastructures for access to logistics, data and cloud services for deployment on-site or off-premise.
