EnerSys (Booth 7828), a global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications, is exhibiting its extensive line of motive power solutions for manufacturing and supply chain management applications at Modex.

Included in the display is a preview of the new EnForcer IMPAQ modular charger product line. These high-frequency modular chargers offer intelligent charging with advanced efficiency and the flexibility to maintain peak efficiency at all times. Modules can be automatically switched on and off based on the charge cycle requirements, and should a module develop a minor fault, the charger bypasses the module for continued operation and continuation of the charging process.

“EnForcer IMPAQ chargers provide peak performance and reliability,” said Steve Spaar, marketing director Americas for EnerSys. “The modular construction adapts to a wide range of battery capacities, provides energy savings and complies with the latest global standards including the California Energy Commission (CEC) appliance efficiency standards. We’re excited to preview the new product line that will officially launch in the summer.”

Additional featured EnerSys products at the show include IRONCLAD batteries with a unique square tube design that provides up to 30% more capacity than similarly sized conventional batteries; NexSys battery and charger systems, optimized for cycling and long-life with rapid charging to enable high-rate fast charging during idle times; Express batteries and chargers that can eliminate battery changes, battery changing rooms and changing equipment; andGeneral Battery with flat plate design for high quality and dependability at optimum value.

“We have proven programs for every type of fleet, ranging from one truck to hundreds of trucks, from single-shift to 24/7 operations,” Spaar said. “Our motive power experts are uniquely qualified to help design system solutions that optimize manpower resources and maximize fleet efficiency to reduce total operation cost.”

Modex 2014 is scheduled to be held March 17-20, 2014 in Atlanta’s Georgia World Conference Center. The tradeshow will showcase the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain solutions in the material handling and logistics industry. Modern’s complete Modex 2014 coverage.
