enVista sets up an EMEA office in the UK

Earlier today, Indianapolis-based supply chain and IT services provider enVista said it has opened up an EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) office in Ellesmere Port, Chesire, United Kingdom.

Company officials said that this new office, coupled with its Hyderabad, India-based office, will enable the company to better respond to demand for carrier invoice audit and payment services on a global basis and also provide its customers with local and regional EMEA support.

“Through our unparalleled portfolio of supply chain services, enVista as attained another record year of growth and was just named to the Inc. 5000 List for a fourth consecutive year,” said Doug Kahl, vice president, sales, for enVista’s Transportation Solutions group. “This growth has been driven in large part by the U.S. market.  We are always looking for ways to enhance our customers’ experience and avenues for future growth.”

While freight audit and payment is the initial launch platform, Kahl said enVista will look to provide its comprehensive supply chain and systems integration expertise to companies in Europe, Asia and elsewhere.

“We are very excited about the possibilities this endeavor can lead to in the future,” he added.

He also noted that enVista has more than 400 customers in its Transportation Solutions business practice who will be supported by this group to start while it expands its global customer footprint.

Another benefit of the new EMEA office, said Kahl, is that from enVista’s global headquarters in Carmel, Indiana to Ellesmere Port in the U.K. and Hyderabad, India, now has a presence to support global corporations on a regional basis.

“We are very excited to expand our global presence and improve our ability to serve companies worldwide with global freight invoice audit and transportation spend management requirements,” said enVista President and CEO Jim Barnes in a statement. “enVista has some of the deepest freight invoice audit and payment expertise in the industry. We look forward to now being better able to serve global shippers. enVista’s presence in EMEA is a key differentiator among domestic U.S. freight invoice audit and payment firms; we now have the regional presence and experienced resources to audit shipping to and from anywhere in the world.”
