EuroSort unveils new Sweep Belt Sorter

EuroSort (Booth 6713A) rolled out its newest high-speed unit sorter, the EuroSort Sweep Belt Sorter.

EuroSort (Booth 6713A) rolled out its newest high-speed unit sorter, the EuroSort Sweep Belt Sorter. Designed to sort small items weighing 5 pounds or less, the product manages the movement of bagged apparel, books, small packages, jewelry, accessories, eye care items, pharmaceuticals in poly-bags, multimedia products and more.

According to Howard Eisenberg, EuroSort’s president, the EuroSort Sweep Belt Sorter boasts sortation rates of up to 7,200 units per hour for maximum throughput capacity. Various induction methods, value-added equipment (such as price stickering, weighing, etc.) and sorting destination types (direct to store carton, tote, mail sack, packing chute, etc.) are also available to accommodate the user’s specific application need.

“Our sorters improve the productivity, accuracy and efficiency of companies across a variety of applications,” said Eisenberg, “including order fulfillment, reverse logistics, receiving, postal sorting, store replenishment and order assembly.” Attendees can demo the system at the EuroSort exhibit.
