FastFetch North America changes name to NextGen DC Systems

Name change accompanies broader range of integrated solutions.

Rick Froehlich, founder president of NextGen DC Systems, has announced that FastFetch North America (FFNA) has officially changed its name to NextGen DC Systems.

FastFetch North America had been known for providing order picking systems, but during 2015 it recognized customers who needed order fulfillment solutions also faced a host of other challenges that FFNA was not able to address. By expanding their offerings, the new NextGen DC Systems team is able to bring a broader range of solutions.

“The launch of NextGen is about much more than a name change. It’s really an opportunity for us to provide our clients services and solutions that were not possible before,” Froehlich said. “NextGen is positioned to provide full DC consulting services, design, distribution and warehouse software, integration solutions, and material handling equipment through a network of strategic alliances who truly fit the standards of our company.”

NextGen is a “team” of subject matter experts and providers for the distribution/warehouse community, and is capable of integrating processes, design and engineering, fulfillment, technology and equipment. NextGen DC Systems LLC is based in Simpsonville, S.C., with offices in Atlanta, Ga., and Seattle, Wash.
