Forte adds three new members to expanding management team

Director of software development, software engineer and services specialist bring experience and customer perspective to growing company.

Forte, a Swisslog company, has announced the addition of three new members to its expanding team.

Peter Wendler joins as the director of software development; Josh Keyser joins as a software engineer; and Zachary Rose is a professional services specialist.

In his new role, Wendler is responsible for managing Forte’s software engineering team, which develops new features and functionality for the company’s warehouse execution system (WES) software. The software engineering team also works closely with the professional services team to determine new products and functionality requirements for current applications and product development roadmaps.

With 15 years of experience in software development, Wendler served as the manager of business process management and imaging for Ohio National Financial Services, managing a team responsible for the development and operation of the system that supports the organization’s value delivery stream. He received his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Oberlin College in Ohio.

Keyser is responsible for engineering specific WES software functionality, drawing on several years of experience in software development, having held positions at International TechneGroup, Landrum & Brown, and most recently, Ecova. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

As a professional services specialist, Rose works to configure, test and deploy Forte’s flagship software product suite. In his previous position as a project specialist for Cooper-Atkins Corporation, Rose led the creation and evaluation of all procedures for the installations of assistance programs, managed customer expectations and follow-up to ensure complete satisfaction, and worked alongside clients to complete agreed-upon work. He earned his Bachelor of Business degree from Lee University in Cleveland.
