Benchmarking the Nether lands as Gateway to Europe

The value of the Netherlands as a logistics hub for European and global supply chains is best illustrated by comparing it with the ongoing competition from our neighboring countries. Based on the market experience of Holland International Distribution Council (NDL/HIDC) and discussions with our members and our contacts in the international business community, we know how important a detailed impression is of where the Netherlands ranks vis-à-vis competitors such as Belgium, Germany and France.

Therefore, in 2004 and 2007, we commissioned Buck Consultants International (BCI ) to conduct a benchmark study to compare the relative attractiveness of different European logistics hot-spots.  The next version of this benchmark will be released at the end of 2011.

DHL officially inaugurates Americas hub at CVG
Express delivery and logistics services provider DHL recently announced it has officially inaugurated its expanded $105 million Americas hub at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky (CVG) Airport.
