Logistics managers seek to fill the “talent gap”

Logistics Management’s annual salary survey – to be published next month—examines today’s compensation index, but also points to trends in future hiring.
The challenge for business leaders is in finding the best supply chain talent, says, Mike Burnette, Associate Director at The Global Supply Chain Institute University of Tennessee, Knoxville, College of Business Administration.
He believes that talent management is a disciplined process that requires multiple systems working together in concert to deliver an organization’s human resource goals.
