At 10 a.m. on Monday, John Paxton, president of MHI, welcomed attendees and exhibitors to Modex 2014, “the greatest supply chain show on earth.” This week, attendees will experience equipment and systems solutions as well as learning opportunities that span the entire supply chain, said Paxton, from material handling and logistics, and across manufacturing, assembly and distribution.
This year, Supply Chain and Transportation USA show is co-located with Modex to deliver a complete supply chain experience for attendees. Laurent Noel, vice president of transportation and logistics at Reed Exhibitions, said SC&T chose the arrangement to showcase leading suppliers in global logistics and supply chain. “We invite attendees to explore the show floor, attend the conference sessions and take part in the various raffles and giveaways,” said Noel.
This installment of Modex features 800 exhibits and a broad scope of educational content that includes three keynotes and more than 150 show floor seminars. The show will also include the events of 10 co-located education partners including the Georgia Logistics Summit (taking place Tuesday and Wednesday).
“I would like to express my deepest thanks on behalf of MHI to all of the Modex co-located partners who are with us here today,” said Paxton. “They have teamed with Modex to build an expo that delivers one-of-a-kind insights into the overall supply chain in a single location at one time.”
The combined event will offer a broad scope of educational content and insights while also giving attendees a first-hand look at some of the newest innovations in supply chain technology and equipment. “When it comes to uncovering those big ideas, products and people that will make all the difference in moving your business and supply chain forward,” said Paxton, “Modex is the place to find them.”
Modex 2014 is scheduled to be held March 17-20, 2014 in Atlanta’s Georgia World Conference Center. The tradeshow will showcase the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain solutions in the material handling and logistics industry. Modern’s complete Modex 2014 coverage.
