Members of the North American warehouse-based third-party logistics industry will gather during the International Warehouse Logistics Association 2012 Convention & Expo, March 18-20, 2012, at the Fairmont San Francisco.
The 2012 convention theme is “Bridging Generations for Success.” Featured speakers and educational sessions are designed to improve profits for warehouse-based 3PLs. Accompanying the convention will be an exhibition of the latest products and services offered by suppliers to the logistics industry.
“IWLA is committed to putting on a world-class convention in a world-class venue, including plenty of opportunity to network with North America’s leading logistics professionals,” said Arthur Barrett, president of Barrett Distribution Centers, Franklin, Mass. He also serves as IWLA vice chairman and as chairman of the association’s Convention Planning Committee.
“The IWLA Convention will feature an impressive roster of keynote speakers and educational sessions by industry experts who will deliver rich content on timely topics,” Barrett said. “Those who attend will take home with them information about industry and economic trends, management techniques and leading-edge technological developments they cannot obtain in any other industry gathering.”
The IWLA Convention features a full schedule of concurrent educational sessions designed to provide attendees with practical information and updates on management and business trends, legal and government updates, along with information about the next wave of technology improvements available to warehouse- based logistics providers. A full range of social events also will offer unique opportunities for networking.
