The US/China state of trade relations

This article from Textile World gives a good overview of the different perspectives on the latest tensions in Sino-American trade relations. It’s very important to understand how this situation unfolds if you’re responsible for ensuring a robust global supply chain with roots in China. My belief is that sanctions and trade barriers are not the solution to the problem, but trade needs to be fair as well - so regardless of where you come down on the issue, I think all will agree that the last chapter hasn’t been written on this.
Listen closely to the rhetoric as the 2008 US election approaches especially if there are more quality related issues from products manufactured in China. See the article.
