Fixing transport infrastructure: Where’s the leadership?
January 11, 2008
As reported by LM last week, U.S. Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Thomas J. Donohue is calling upon Congress to do something to fund our nation’s ailing transportation infrastructure. While taxes may not be the answer, he is quite correct in bringing public awareness to this critical issue. But is Congress listening? And more to the point are any of the leading presidential candidates taking a position on the issue? We see scant evidence of it. Where’s the leadership?
