According to all reports, the third-party logistics industry is surging again, but experts agree that growth will reach a plateau in the coming years due to a number of looming economic uncertainties. Here’s an overview of how the market is currently shaping up.

Global third-party logistics (3PL) services provider CEVA is continuing to increase its presence in the United States. The company announced this week it has relocated its cross-dock operations to a new facility in Otay Mesa, California, which is less than three miles from its previous location.

The company has released JDA Transportation & Logistics Management 6.3.4, which company officials said is the “second phase” of its post i2 acquisition transportation and logistics product roadmap integration plan rolled out in April 2010.
