
- ATA says January tonnage up 2.4 percent
The American Trucking Associations (ATA) said this week that its seasonally-adjusted for-hire Truck Tonnage index was up 2.4 percent in January, coming off of a 1.5 percent gain in December.

Diesel prices continued spiking, with a 10.6 cent increase to $3.658 per gallon. The average price per gallon for diesel has gone up 37.8 cents in the last three weeks. This week's price is 103.2 cents higher than the price last year at this time. more
