AAR April volumes are mixed year over year
Carload freight and intermodal volume totals for the month of April were in line with previous months, due in large part to a troubled economy which continues to hinder all forms of freight transportation, according to data released by the Association of American Railroads earlier today.

Diesel prices remain over $4 per gallon
Diesel prices were up 18.2 cents this week to $4.331 per gallon, remaining above $4 per gallon for the fifth consecutive week and again hitting a new record. This week's price is 155.8 cents higher than the price last year at this time. Click here to continue
