Strategic Issues in Supply Chain Management

Date: September 8-9, 2008

Location: Baltimore, Md.

"The rapid change and expansion in the global supply chain and its geographies have made every part of an organization a contributing link in the supply chain. Enterprises can only remain competitive by sufficiently understanding and managing the ever-evolving issues that affect their supply chains as well as those of their partner organizations," said Art Van Bodegraven, one of the workshop's instructors and recognized author and leading supply chain authority.

According to Van Bodegraven, the new workshop will help attendees implement innovative strategies within their organizations to drive supply chain performance to more efficient and cost-effective levels. The workshop's agenda also includes the impact of globalization and how to manage it, utilizing metrics, post-9/11 security, and current marketplace demands on speed and flexibility.

Van Bodegraven is a partner in the Progress Group, and the event's second instructor, Ken Ackerman, is president of the KB Ackerman Company. Both are recognized industry experts and have over 50 years of combined experience.
