The Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reported today that its Freight Transportation Services Index (TSI) increased 0.1 percent from October to November.

As has been the case in recent months, truckload pricing remains solid for carriers, according to the most recent edition of The Cass Truckload Linehaul Index from Cass Information Systems and Avondale Partners.
Following a six-week stretch in which the price per gallon for diesel gasoline headed down, priced headed up 4.5 cents this week to $3.828 per gallon, according to the Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration (EIA).
