Global third-party logistics (3PL) services provider Jacobson Companies said this week it is expanding into Hong Kong with the launch of Jacobson Global Logistics Ltd. (JGL). Following December’s announcement that it planned to acquire Total Logistic Control, a subsidiary of SUPERVALU and a provider of supply chain services for shippers in the food, beverage, and consumer packaged goods sectors, freight transportation and logistics services provider Ryder System said today the deal is now official.
