The Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im) has approved a $250 million working capital loan guarantee for Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan.

Dematic, a leading global supplier of integrated material handling solutions and services, announces it has signed an agreement in principle to purchase HK Systems, a North American automated material handling and software solutions provider. The transaction is expected to close sometime in the third quarter of 2010.

The Port of Los Angeles has been awarded a $731,000 grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) to purchase and test new technology that could significantly reduce diesel emissions and greenhouse gases from rubber tired gantry cranes, which are used for stacking containers.
