Taking steps to let shippers know about its full range of freight transportation service offerings, regional less-than-truckload carrier Pitt Ohio Express has officially re-branded and will be known as Pitt Ohio going forward.
Carload volume at 282,837 was up 1.5 percent compared to the corresponding week last year. This is nearly identical with the week ending January 15, which hit 282,987 carloads.
As was the case for most of 2010, annual improvements in spot market performance were prevalent. This was evidenced by data released by the TransCore North American Freight Index this week.
