Following a December 1 announcement stating that it reached an agreement to acquire Kansas City-based Freightquote.com for $365 million, global logistics services provider and freight forwarder C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc. (CHRW) said today the acquisition has been made official.

In a move geared towards expanding its freight brokerage presence even further, global logistics services provider and freight forwarder C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc. (CHRW) said yesterday that it has reached an agreement to acquire Kansas City-based Freightquote.com for $365 million. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2015.

CHRW said this office will serve as a “key step in developing the Austrian market as well as improving and expanding the C.H. Robinson office network across Europe” and will be concentrated on European road transportation.
