In a recent survey conducted by Supply Chain Management Review and Logistics Management, supply chain and logistics executives said the biggest obstacles standing in the way of their organizations achieving supply chain efficiencies and gaining greater control of costs include a lack of visibility into all steps in the supply chain, poor synchronization of end-to-end business processes, and little or no access to accurate, time-sensitive information.
