Non asset-based third-party logistics (3PL) services provider Transplace and its company-owned intermodal marketing company (IMC) Celtic International recently announced they have expanded its cross-border and intra-Mexico intermodal services, which they said will provide shippers with a more thorough U.S.-Mexico service into and out of Mexico.

The impact of this once in a lifetime winter simply cannot be understated when viewing how it has impacted myriad facets of daily life and freight transportation operations, too, of course. What Old Man Winter has wrought early in the year looking at metrics like sluggish retail sales and declining truck tonnage is obvious to say the least. And while it will not last forever, its impact remains intact for now anyway.

Taking steps to expand its extensive logistics services menu for shippers, non asset-based third-party logistics (3PL) services provider Transplace said this week it has joined forces with Chicago-based intermodal marketing company (IMC) Celtic International to “form a leading North American logistics provider,” according to company officials.

Transplace, a non asset-based, third-party logistics (3PL) provider of transportation management, truck brokerage, and technology-related logistics services, said this week it has expanded its relationship with packaging company Intertape Polymer Group by expanding operations in Mexico and opening a new distribution center in Monterrey, Mexico.
