JDA announces executive promotions

Razat Gaurav to lead global industries and solutions; Enrique Rodriguez appointed global sales leader.

JDA Software Group has announced the promotion of two executives to senior leadership positions.

Razat Gaurav has been named executive vice president and general manager, Global Industries and Solutions, and Enrique (Quique) Rodriguez has been appointed executive vice president and chief sales officer.

The company’s newly formed Global Industries and Solutions business unit will be led by Gaurav, whose teams will be responsible for developing industry solution vision and product portfolio strategies, support and cloud operations based on disruptive innovation, agility and customer needs.

Gaurav has been with JDA since 1999 and has held a variety of global leadership positions, most recently as senior vice president, International and Strategic Initiatives. During this time, and earlier in his career, he gained broad experience across management consulting, product management, product marketing and sales management, all centered around the supply chain and retail domains. He has successfully created and executed on go-to-market strategies, achieved aggressive sales growth with products and services, and managed global organizations with profit and loss responsibilities.

JDA’s global Sales and Alliances teams will be led by Rodriguez, and he will be responsible for revenue generation through sales of JDA solutions and services, establishing, growing and retaining strong customer relationships, and building a progressive, dynamic and profitable global alliances strategy and ecosystem.

Rodriguez joined JDA in February 2014 as senior vice president, Strategic Accounts, after spending 34 years in a variety of leadership and sales positions at IBM. Throughout his career, he led IBM sales teams in North America, Asia and Latin America, successfully analyzing and exploiting market opportunities, aligning the organization to meet critical business requirements and developing innovative approaches and solutions for enhancing competitiveness and growing revenue. Since joining JDA, Rodriguez has worked to strengthen customer relationships and has offered keen insights and practical solutions around JDA’s strategic initiatives related to key accounts and elsewhere across the business.

“Both Razat and Quique are proven leaders with the industry knowledge and experience to advance our strategic initiatives – which are laser-focused on delivering great results for our customers and our company,” said Bal Dail, JDA chairman and interim chief executive officer. “We have an unparalleled set of solutions and services to deliver game-changing results to companies worldwide, and we look forward to having Razat and Quique in these new leadership positions to help us take advantage of the tremendous market opportunity in front of us.”
