Year in Review: 2014 System Reports

A look back at Modern's 2014 cover stories.

Modern’s system reports in 2014 offered readers a look at the business model and system designs that serve as a tangible example of how end users have put the equipment to work to increase productivity in their facility. Across manufacturing, warehousing and distribution facilities, e-commerce and omni-channel capabilities were a common through-line. Even more pronounced was the focus on uptime, preventive maintenance and accurate speed. Solutions this year celebrated automatic guided vehicles, lift trucks, supply chain software, voice technology, conveyor and sortation, automation and more.
