Arrive Logistics announces the opening of a new San Antonio office

Earlier this week, Austin, Texas-based freight brokerage and transportation management services provider Arrive Logistics said it has expanded its Lone Star State operations to San Antonio, opening up a new office there on July 11.

Company officials said that this office can hold up to 350 employees and represents what Arrive called a continuation of its strategic expansion goals, driven by more than $300 million in funds raised in 2021. What’s more, the company is on track to hire 2,200 employees over the course of 2022 and 2023, which will double the company’s size. And Arrive also said it will be setting up shop in Tampa, Fla., with a new office it said will open in over the coming months.

The new 27,000 square-foot San Antonio office is leased by Worth & Associates and includes a modern open office layout and room for expansive training facilities, similar in design and functionality to the company’s 120,000-plus square foot headquarters in Austin. Arrive said that the office space is designed to create a collaborative and productive work environment for employees, adding that this location is located at 2735 Austin Highway, which is in close proximity to residential areas, local commercial amenities, the San Antonio International Airport, and nearby Arrive’s Austin headquarters.

“As our business continues to grow, we are rapidly scaling the team in order to serve our partners at the highest level,” said J-Ann Tio, Arrive Chief Strategy Officer, in an interview. “We aim to hire great talent, train them to be experts in what we do and retain them over time so they can grow their careers within our company. Our expansion into San Antonio is a great chance to broaden our recruiting reach by tapping into the rich and diverse professional community in the area.”

She also noted that Arrive has called Texas home since opening its Austin headquarters in 2014, and its proximity to San Antonio has positioned Arrive’s employees to build strong partnerships with the carriers and customers it works with there.

“Having a team on the ground in San Antonio will further elevate the unparalleled freight experience we work to provide,” she said.

As for the main benefits of this expansion, Tio said Arrive aims to double its team's size and by expanding to San Antonio and soon Tampa, FL, it is increasing its geographical footprint.

“San Antonio is not only home to incredible talent but also some of our current employees who now have the opportunity to relocate, an advantage of its own,” said Tio. “One of Arrive’s competitive advantages is the experience we offer our team and providing more choices on where to work and live is part of that.”
